Our Mineral Resources: Responsible Mining & Value Multiplication for Shared Prosperity

Sierra Leone Mining Week & Exhibition 2026

Sierra Leone is gearing up for the 2026 Mining Week, scheduled to take place from May 21st to 23rd, 2026, at the Freetown International Conference Centre. This event builds on the success of the 2025 inaugural event and will feature the 11th African Diamond Producers Association (ADPA) Ordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers.

The theme, “Our Mineral Resources: Responsible Mining, Value Multiplication, and Shared Prosperity,” highlights the country’s commitment to sustainable mining practices and ensuring mineral wealth benefits local communities.

The event aims to bring together key stakeholders, including government officials, mining companies, industry leaders, investors, and service providers, to discuss challenges, opportunities, and innovations in Sierra Leone’s mining industry. The exhibition will showcase various mining technologies, equipment, and services, providing a platform for networking and collaboration.

The primary goal is to position Sierra Leone as a premier investment destination, promoting its rich mineral resources and commitment to responsible mining. Expect panel discussions and opportunities for business partnerships, making it a must-attend event for those involved in or looking to enter the mining sector.
